On the first day, our staff will meet guests arriving on various flights from across the country at Kunming Airport and escort them to the hotel. After checking in, please get plenty of rest to build up your stamina. This is especially important for guests visiting high-altitude areas for the first time—please avoid strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol consumption. During free time, guests are responsible for arranging their own meals. 2. After breakfast, take a bus to Puzhehei, the ”Ink-and-Wash World,” Upon arrival, explore the [Puzhehei Scenic Area] (including a boat ride: 200 yuan per person) and the Wetland Park. Puzhehei is renowned for its six major scenic features: “water-side farmlands, lakes and karst peaks, Yi ethnic water villages, karst wetlands, a world of lotus flowers, and a paradise for migratory birds.” Here, you’ll find the ethereal beauty of Guilin’s landscapes—isolated peaks, clear streams, secluded caves, and奇石—as well as the rustic charm of Jiangnan’s water towns with their small bridges, flowing streams, and traditional homes. It also boasts the radiant splendor of Hangzhou’s West Lake with its shimmering waters, and a vast expanse of 10,000 mu of lotus flowers that surpasses even the grandeur of the Lotus Pond. Within the scenic area, 265 attractions each possess their own unique charm; 312 isolated peaks are scattered like stars across the landscape; 83 karst caves take on a myriad of forms; 54 lakes are interconnected; 20,000 mu of water surface are crystal-clear; a 13-kilometer-long grand canyon is majestic and awe-inspiring; a 3-kilometer stretch of the ancient Tea-Horse Road exudes mystery and rustic charm, and 40,000 mu of highland karst wetlands are truly breathtaking. The scenic area boasts a rich ethnic cultural heritage, with the vibrant folk traditions of the Zhuang, Miao, and Yi minorities forming the backbone of Puzhehei’s tourism culture. The scenic area now offers a wide range of tourist experiences, including sightseeing, vacations, wellness, leisure, cycling, sketching, photography, fishing, birdwatching, and wetland exploration. Puzhehei Village, located within the scenic area, served as the outdoor filming location for the 2013 Hunan TV hit family reality show *Where Are We Going, Dad?*.

Take a boat into the Zhuang village of Bamei (admission included; touring time of at least 120 minutes) (You must take a boat to enter the village; a complete tour of the scenic area requires one horse-drawn carriage ride and three boat rides), Take a stroll through the fields of Bamei Village in the Zhuang countryside, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind to arrive at Bamei—a place remarkably close to the “utopia” described by Tao Yuanming of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Green mountains, ancient trees, emerald bamboo, and crystal-clear waters complement the ancient, enchanting village. Rice paddies, water wheels, swallows in flight, and herds of cattle, sheep, ducks, and geese create a scene so captivating that visitors find it hard to leave; this place is also a paradise for photography enthusiasts. In recent years, Bamei Village in Guangnan County has become a must-visit destination for tourists traveling to Wenshan. To enter the village, one must take a boat through a massive karst cave waterway for about ten minutes. As the boat approaches the cave’s entrance, a valley comes into view, with flowing water, verdant bamboo, waterwheels, farmlands, and thatched huts… For the people of Damai Village, the utopia described by Tao Yuanming is essentially their own home.

After breakfast, take a bus to the [Jiuxiang Scenic Area], located within the Jiuxiang Yi and Hui Ethnic Township in Yiliang County, 90 kilometers from Kunming and 47 kilometers from Yiliang County seat. The scenic area is primarily known for its cave formations and is renowned for its “Six Wonders.” First, there are the tiered rice paddies with their sparkling clear waters; second, there are the male and female waterfalls inside the cave, with a drop of over 30 meters; third, a natural bridge spanning a sheer cliff over 200 meters high; fourth, the “Hall of the Mighty Lion,” a hall-like formation carved into the limestone cliff; and fifth, the “Thrilling Gorge” and “Shaded Green Gorge,” both over 80 meters high. Plans are already in place to develop scenic areas such as Diehong Bridge, Dasha Dam, Sanjiao Cave, Alulong, and Mingyue Lake.
